Founder and Director

Dr Sarah Jenkins

‘The best insight rarely comes from doing things the way they’ve always been done.’

Dr Sarah Jenkins

Sarah founded Magenta in 2016 with a clear conviction: that the best research comes from people with diverse expertise and varied life experiences who genuinely love what they do. People who think differently, challenge one another, and never forget that work is better when it’s actually enjoyable.

With a career spanning social policy and commercial research, she spent years as Head of Qualitative for the media team at the UK’s largest research agency before deciding to build something her way. More hands-on. More senior. More honest. Building a place where people have fun and are supported as human beings has always mattered to Sarah as much as the quality of the work.

Strategically, Sarah has a talent for cutting through the noise and pinpointing what’s really going on. She loves a challenge, never follows the rulebook when it isn’t serving the work, and consistently pushes the people around her to think more creatively and go further than they thought possible.

Sarah is a multi-award-winning researcher, recognised for work that reaches the people others miss and findings that change how organisations think.
