Where disciplines meet, richer insight emerges
Our multi-disciplinary team blends varied expertise with an ability to see what others miss. We deep-dive into consumers’ worlds to uncover hidden truths and opportunities for your brand, finding the stories in your data that change your thinking and help you reach the people who need to hear them.
‘Magenta started with a single question: what could a research agency achieve for its clients, if it began with people, not methodology?
The answer meant hiring a team most agencies wouldn’t. Anthropologists alongside Cyber Psychologists. Semioticians alongside discourse analysts and commercial strategists. DE&I experts who went on to write the guidelines the rest of the industry follows.
The result is a different quality of conversation.
Dr Sarah Jenkins, Founder of Magenta
Our team brings together disciplines that most agencies keep in separate departments, all on your brief at the same time. The connections between those perspectives spark the kind of thinking you won’t find in a single-discipline agency.
Meet the multidisciplinary team that will find richer insight, develop a new story and turn insight into action.
Working at Magenta
We hire for intellectual curiosity as much as experience. We want people who are curious, have a passion for life and who are just as interested in what the person next to them thinks. Everyone here is hands-on, and nobody is too senior to care about the details or each other.
If that’s the kind of culture you’re looking for, we’d love to hear more about you.
Giving back through our work
We support 52 Lives, a charity with a beautifully simple mission:
to change someone’s life every week of the year. Each week, they share a story of someone in need and their community rallies around them. Wheelchairs, operations, renovated safe spaces, kind messages to children who are struggling: whatever someone needs, 52 Lives finds a way to help.
Through its School of Kindness programme, 52 Lives also visits thousands of children each year, delivering free workshops on why kindness matters and what it looks like in practice.
For every participant we speak to in a qualitative project, we donate £1 to 52 Lives. We also run the evaluation survey for their School of Kindness programme.
‘The impact on our business, internally and externally, has been phenomenal.’
